What is BCAA Pro Formula?
BCAA’s, or Branched Chain Amino Acids, comprise up to 1/3 of all muscle protein. This very important grouping is made up of three amino acids – Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.
Why do I need BCAA’s?
If you are training hard and are interested in lean muscle gains, BCAA’s are one of the first things recommended to add to your supplementation schedule. They aid in recovery, help fuel workouts, help prevent protein catabolism, and promote protein synthesis.
Most amino acids are not considered an important source of energy. BCAA’s, however, play an important role, not only in muscle contraction, but are also vital in protein synthesis by serving as precursors for Glutamine and Alanine which are released in large quantities during intense training.1,2
